Information on Monkeypox – May 2022

There have been a few cases of Monkeypox in the UK. While the current risk is low we are asking patients some additional questions when booking an appointment. This will ensure that we offer the best possible care. All this information will be treated completely confidentially.

We will be asking:

• • Do you have a NEW rash or skin problem AND any of the following symptoms:
    • Feeling unwell
    • High fever
    • Swollen ‘glands’
    • New backache
    • Been in contact with someone diagnosed with monkeypox
