World AIDS Day 1st December 2021

Campaigns |
This World AIDS Day, It's time to remember and to stop new cases of HIV. Together we can remember.

Next year marks 40 years since the first case of HIV/AIDS in the UK, and the death of Terence Higgins, whose loved ones founded the UK’s first HIV organisation in his name, Terrence Higgins Trust.

This World AIDS Day, join us in remembrance for those we have lost, support for people living with HIV today, and also in hope to finally bring an end to new cases of HIV.

This year we are highlighting the importance of HIV testing. Testing is key to ending HIV transmissions.

Your support helps fund vital work to get more people testing through awareness campaigns and our programme to provide free HIV self tests. Every months we run out much too early. This year, if we increase the number of free tests available, then we can help even more people quickly get onto life-saving treatment that prevents them from passing on the virus and enables them to get on with life,  read more
